GRANADA Gallery Presents “Prism of Time: A Study in Glass”. A groundbreaking summer exhibition exploring the transformative power of glass.
Ostend, Belgium — GRANADA Gallery is proud to present Prism of Time: A Study in Glass, an immersive exhibition dedicated to the extraordinary possibilities of glass as a medium of artistic and scientific expression. Opening with an exclusive vernissage on 29 May 2026 in Ostend, the exhibition brings together works that challenge conventional perceptions of materiality, illusion, and time itself.
THROUGH THE LOOKING-GLASS
Far beyond its traditional decorative role, glass is reimagined throughout the exhibition as sculpture, fossil, optical phenomenon, and conceptual artwork. Visitors will encounter monumental and thought-provoking creations that blur the boundaries between art, science, history, and imagination.
HIGHLIGHTS OF THE EXHIBITION
Among the highlights are a monumental glass Dakotaraptor skeleton by Grant Garmezy, an exceptional fusion of paleontology and contemporary craftsmanship, the mesmerizing holographic works of renowned artist August Muth, and selected works by Belgian contemporary artist Arne Quinze, whose practice is known for its vibrant exploration of nature, form, and urban intervention.
BETWEEN ILLUSION AND REALITY
Through transparency, reflection, distortion, and fossilized form, this exhibition invites viewers into a world where glass becomes both subject and illusion. Prism of time reflects GRANADA Gallery’s ongoing commitment to presenting museum-worthy works that celebrate exceptional craftsmanship, innovation, and material mastery.
