2026 - We are delighted to announce a unique art event at the 5 star superior hotel La Butte aux Bois from 12 until 27 March.

During this special exhibition, works by the internationally acclaimed Finnish sculptor Kim Simonsson will be displayed throughout the hotel. His sculptures will be thoughtfully placed in various spaces, allowing visitors to encounter the artworks in dialogue with the hotel’s refined architecture and serene natural surroundings.

Kim Simonsson (born 1974) is known for his distinctive ceramic and moss-covered sculptures that often depict enigmatic, childlike figures. Drawing inspiration from folklore, fairy tales, and nature, his works balance innocence with mystery.

The textured green surfaces of his iconic “Moss People” create a striking, almost otherworldly presence, inviting viewers to reflect on themes of growth, transformation, and the relationship between humanity and the natural world. His sculptures are exhibited internationally and are part of numerous public and private collections.

All artworks presented during the exhibition will be available for purchase.
