Fossilized mud balls of clay

These fossilized balls of clay mud were created when the sea levels dropped exposing these clay nodules, which eventually dried up leaving these stunning natural cracks on the inside.

The minerals left behind by the water crystalized into a variety such as pirite calcite and aragonite.
