Scientists have found fossil eggs and embryos of closely related Therizinosaur dinosaurs in the Nanchao Formation of Henan Province, China. These Late Cretaceous eggs contained well-preserved embryos with features such as leaf-shaped teeth and long claws, allowing researchers to identify them as therizinosaurs. The discovery has provided important evidence about the reproduction and early development of this unusual group of herbivorous theropod dinosaurs.
