METEORITE - WIDMANSTATTEN PATTERN 
The Widmanstätten pattern is a unique crystalline structure that forms when an iron meteorite cools extremely slowly (about 1–100 °C per million years) in space. The pattern consists of intersecting bands of two nickel-iron minerals: kamacite (low in nickel) and taenite (high in nickel). This pattern can only form under the special cooling conditions within asteroids, making it proof of extraterrestrial origin.
