TRICERATOPS SKULL
Triceratops was a large herbivorous dinosaur that lived during the Late Cretaceous period, around 68 to 66 million years ago. It was characterized by its massive body, three facial horns, and a bony frill at the back of its skull. Triceratops likely used its horns for defen- se and its beak-like mouth for grazing on vegetation. It’s one of the most well-known and iconic dinosaurs ever discovered.
